Abstract: The Huye campus is an arboretum. The University of Rwanda at Huye is home to nearly 200 kinds of plants. To learn more about these plants follow one or more of the past indicated on the map below. Numbers on the map refer to the plant name, listed alphabetically by common name first with the scientific name following. Since some plants are found in more than one place on campus you may find a number repeated in different locations. For plants such as eucalyptus trees, only a few of the over 100 individuals on campus are noted on the map. You can start anywhere along the indicated paths identifying plants as you go for whatever amount of time you have available. We hope you will enjoy discovering the Botanical richness of our campus.
